Da Nang High-Tech Park is directly under the People’s Committee of Da Nang City, with an area of ​​1128.40 hectares, in Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city.

Overview

Da Nang High-Tech Park is one of three national multi-functional high-tech zones of Vietnam and the only national high-tech park in the central region, established by the Prime Minister in 2010. According to the plan, the hi-tech park has an area. 1,128.40 ha, of which, the leasable area is 612.27 ha (54%).

Da Nang Hi-Tech Park has 06 main functional subdivisions including: CNC production zone; Research – Training Development and Business Incubation Zone; Management – administrative area; Residential area; The focal technical infrastructure zone; Logistics, logistics and CNC services.

Da Nang High-Tech Park is a place for research, incubation, development, transfer and application of high technology; training high-tech human resources; high-tech business incubation; commercialization of scientific research and technological development results; production, business and high-tech services; risky investment.

1. Geographical location

Da Nang Hi-tech Park is located to the northwest compared to the center of Da Nang city, located in  Hoa Lien  and  Hoa Ninh communes,  Hoa Vang district,  Da Nang city, located on the  Da Nang – Dung expressway. Quat, connecting key economic zones in Central:  Chan May-Lang Co economic zone  (Thua Thien – Hue province), Chu Lai economic zone (Quang Nam province), Dung Quat economic zone (Quang Ngai province) ; 22 km from Da Nang city center, 25 km from Tien Sa Port, 17 km from Da Nang International Airport.

The construction site has high ground, the geological foundation belongs to the metamorphic and crystalline igneous system (crystallized shale), which is convenient for the construction of infrastructure, and does not cost much for the anti-subsidence.

2. Infrastructure

Transportation system

Traffic routes in the Industrial Park include:

• Center Street has cross section Bn = 51m

• Subdivision axes have cross section Bn = 22.5m ÷ 33m

• Internal roads in each functional area have a cross section of Bn = 8m ÷ 15m.

Drainage system

Drainage in the Hi-tech Park is designed according to its own drainage direction, specifically as follows:

• Dirty drainage system: dirty water flows into the sewer system and then is cleaned at the treatment plants before being discharged to the receiving source (river, lake, etc.).

• Rainwater drainage system: There is a separate sewer system and rainwater collection pits, directing to the receiving source (river, lake, etc.).

Sewerage system

• Building a separate drainage system completely to drain wastewater for Da Nang hi-tech park.

• In the high-tech area, there are 2 key infrastructure projects and a waste treatment station.

Station 1: mainly focuses on collecting and transferring solid waste, with an area of 0.8 ha.

Station 2: invest in a wastewater treatment plant, area: 02 ha. Capacity: 18,000 m3/day and night (04 modules), ensuring thorough treatment of wastewater from the Hi-Tech Park in accordance with current environmental technical regulations QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT – Column B with systems Kq=0.9 and Kf=0.9 before discharge

Water supply system

Water supply for the Industrial Park is expected to be taken from Hoa Lien Water Plant with a capacity of 240,000 m3/day.

In the first phase, when Hoa Lien Water Plant has not been completed, the Hi-Tech Park will be temporarily supplied with water from the D225 pipeline on the bypass south of the Hai Van tunnel. Water source from booster pump station DT602; pumping station has a capacity of 120 m3/h, H = 70m.

Electricity distribution system

The power supply plan for the Industrial Park is to build Hoa Lien 110/22kV station with a capacity of 2x63MVA. It is expected that in 2015 will be put into operation before 01 63MVA transformer. The 110kV dual-circuit power line supplying power to the station will be relayed on the 110kV Hoa Khanh – Hai Van tunnel circuit.

Communication systems

KCNC will have information – communication technology infrastructure to ensure communication, smooth connection, high quality transmission line, confidentiality, safety and network security.

3. Investment incentives

Incentives on corporate income tax

• Tax incentives: 10% preferential tax rate for a period of 15 years. The time to apply the preferential tax rate is calculated continuously from the first year the enterprise has revenue.

• Preferential tax exemption and reduction period: Tax exemption for 4 years, 50% reduction of payable tax for the next 9 years. The tax exemption period is calculated continuously from the first year the enterprise has taxable income.

Incentives on land rent

Projects are exempt from land rent for the entire land lease term

• High-tech applications on the list of CNC prioritized for development investment (Appendix I, Decision 66/2014/QD-TTg);

• Manufacturing products on the list of CNC products encouraged for development (Appendix II, Decision 66/2014/QD-TTg);

• Manufacturing CNC-supported industrial products;
