What is the situation of Bac Ninh’s industrial park network in the upcoming years?
Bac Ninh is one of the “industrial capitals” in the Northern region. In the upcoming years, this locality will continue to invest in and expand numerous industrial parks and clusters. Simultaneously, there will also be efforts to eliminate projects that no longer align with regional planning.
According to the provincial planning of Bac Ninh for the period 2021 – 2030, with a vision towards 2050 recently approved by the Prime Minister, industrial parks will continue to be the economic strength of Bac Ninh. In the upcoming years, the region will further expand numerous industrial park projects.
Specifically, by 2030, Bac Ninh province aims to have 25 industrial parks, prioritizing the development of concentrated industrial parks, specialized industrial parks, and comprehensive multi-functional industrial parks of high quality…
Also, there is encouragement for the establishment of ecological industrial park models, urban-service industrial parks; and research into transforming 1 – 2 existing industrial parks into ecological industrial park models.
The industrial development space comprises four areas: (1) The electronic technology valley in Yen Phong district; (2) The industrial corridor in Que Vo town; (3) The new industrial park in Thuan Thanh town and Luong Tai, Gia Binh districts; (4) The Information Technology and High-Tech Center in Tien Du district and Bac Ninh city.
Specifically, in the coming years, two new industrial parks will be established: Thuan Thanh III Industrial park – park C in Thuan Thanh Town with an area of about 200 hectares; An Viet – Que Vo 6 Industrial park in Quế Võ Town covering 60 hectares.
Additionally, there are several potential industrial parks expected to be established when conditions permit, such as Quế Võ Expansion 2 Industrial park (Quế Võ Town) around 150 hectares; Gia Bình I (Gia Bình District) approximately 250 hectares; Lương Tài 1 (Lương Tài District) about 245 hectares; Luong Tai II around 495 hectares; Urban-Service Industrial park in Luong Tai covering approximately 665 hectares.
Concerning industrial clusters, by 2030, Bac Ninh province aims to have 30 industrial clusters. The spatial development and arrangement of these industrial clusters will be done rationally based on environmental protection, and efficient utilization of land and other resources.
Specifically, within the 2021 – 2030 period, new industrial clusters will be established such as Nghia Đao (75 hectares), Lac Ve (45 hectares), Tam Đa – Dung Liet park 1 (75 hectares); Tam Đa – Dung Liet park 2 (50 hectares); Que Tan (45 hectares), Xuan Lai – Đong Cuu (45 hectares), Song Giang – Giang Son (75 hectares), Phu Lang (75 hectares).
Between 2030 – 2050, an additional industrial cluster named Mỹ Hương covering approximately 60 hectares will be established.
Furthermore, within the 2021 – 2050 timeframe, 20 industrial clusters will be removed from the planning. Specifically, from 2021 to 2030, these clusters include: Phong Khe, extended – Phong Khe, Vo Cuong, Khac Niem, Thanh Khuong, Xuan Lam, Tuong Giang, Doc Sat, Ma Ong, Chau Khe, Đong Quang, Đong Ky I, Phu Lam, Tao Đoi, Đai Bai, and Quynh Phu.
Between 2030 and 2050, the clusters to be removed include Hap Linh, Ha Man – Tri Qua, Đinh Bang, and Đa Hoi.
